Urban Decay Naked 2 Dupe - MUA Undress Me Too Palette

Today I'm going to be showing you the new MUA 'Undress Me Too' Palette.
It is supposed to be a dupe of the Urban Decay 'Naked 2' Palette, and luckily for you i have both, so let the swatching commence!!
The palette comes with 12 shades, for the grand old sum of £4, yes, you read that right, this beauty is only £4!!!
One thing i like about this palette straight away is that they have actually given the shadows names, their previous palettes just had numbers.
Its not a big deal, but i always think its nice to put a name to a product.

Quick pic of both the Urban Decay 'Naked 2' Palette and the MUA 'Undress Me Too'
Can you see any similarities??

Better pic of the shadows without any glare, how amazing do they look!!
The packaging on this is very basic, white in colour with a clear lid so you can see the colours, a very basic look but for the price who's complaining, and i actually quite like the look of MUA palettes in general.
The palette also comes with a double ended sponge applicator, which i never use, but I'm sure someone will find it useful.

So first up we have the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette.
All these swatches are done without any primer.

Top row from left to right:
*Foxy
*Half Baked
*Bootycall
*Chopper
*Tease
*Snakebite

Bottom row from left to right:
*Suspect
*Pistol
*Verve
*YDK
*Busted
*Blackout

MUA Undress Me Too Palette
Again these swatches are done without any primer.

Top row from left to right:
*Naked
*Devotion
*Shy
*Fiery
*Lavish
*Dreamy

Bottom row from left to right:
*Tranquil
*Exposed
*Reveal
*Wink
*Obsessed
*Corrupt

Now, onto my thoughts.
I personally think that this is a fabulous little palette to own, and i think it is a great dupe for the Naked 2 palette, the only shadows i could complain about are the matte ones, there just not as pigmented as the urban decay ones, and seem quite chalky to me, but as for the other colour's i absolutely love them, the pigmentation is amazing and they apply beautifully.
I would recommend that you use a primer with these shadows as it will make them pop even more.
I truly think that this palette is AMAZING for the £4 price tag, and would highly recommend it, i for one am very impressed with it!!

MAC Archies Girls Haul

I'm sure you've all heard about the recent MAC Archie's Girls Collection by now, but for those of you who haven't, feast your eyes on these beauties below!!

I ordered these online from the MAC website, my first ever online purchase from them, and i have to say I'm impressed.
The shipping was super quick, they were packaged really well, in a plain black box with tons of tissue paper for padding, and they were also kind enough to send me a sample of strobe cream, which made me really happy (because who doesn't love samples, right?) and lets face it MAC isn't cheap, and special packaging runs slightly dearer again, so i think if we spend a pretty penny on a company whichever brand it may be we should expect a sample in return.

Take a look at this packaging, seriously its the cutest ever!!

This is the 'Pearl Matte Face Powder in Flatter me'
Not only is the packaging amazing, but look at the product inside, its just beautiful!!

Up close with swatches.
This has really good colour payoff and the product itself feels so soft and silky to the touch.
I cant wait to use this as a blush!!
Ill also be using the lighter shade as a highlight too.

Next up is 'Betty Bright' Lipstick
Now let me tell you i LOVE this colour, its a gorgeous bright peachy colour and is right up my alley.
It comes in a satin finish which has great coverage and isn't drying.
This colour reminds me a little of viva glam Nicki, which i also have.
i think this will look fabulous in the summer and i for one cant wait to wear it.

Next up we have 'Ronnie Red'
Now I'm not usually a red lipstick wearer, although i do seem to have added a few to my collection lately lol, but i had to grab this one after seeing swatches of it all over the Internet, and also because of the name
(my dads name is Ronnie, haha.)
This shade isn't just a straight up red, i feel its like a pinky red, which for me makes it more wearable, it comes in a matte finish, so is very pigmented.
ill defo be wearing this for nights out, not sure if I'm brave enough to wear it during the day yet!!

The final lipstick that i got is in 'Daddy's Little Girl'
this is a super pigmented pink/violet colour in a satin finish that i absolutely love.
it reminds me alot of 'Gladiola' Lipstick that came out with the Dame Edna Collection, again i do own this colour as well. (Think i may have to do some swatch comparisons, yes? no?)
I seriously cannot wait to wear this colour!!

Here's the swatches for you all.
Top to Bottom:
*Betty Bright
*Ronnie Red
*Daddy's little Girl
The swatches are pretty true to colour, and shows just how pigmented these lipsticks really are, I'm a huge fan of MAC lipsticks anyway and have quite a collection, but theres just something about these 3 colours that i just absolutely love!!

MUA Undress Your skin shimmer highlighter - REVIEW

So i recently picked up this item from my Local Superdrug when i called in the other day.
Its by MUA (Makeup Academy) and is part of their new Undress me range.
This is their shimmer highlighter, as soon as i saw this on their facebook page i just knew that i had to get my hands on it!!

It comes in basic style packaging with 7.5g of product inside.
MUA describe this as 'A lightweight powder that transforms your complexion with luminescent shimmer'
To the touch this product feels super soft and silky, it glides perfectly onto the skin and gives the most amazing glow ever!!

Look how beautiful the actual product is.
It looks alot more Goldy in the picture above but in real life it had a gorgeous pink reflect running through it.
I think this is a great product that would suit all skin types from super pale to very tanned.
Ive also tried this as a brow highlight and as a shadow in my inner tear ducts to open up and brighten my eyes and it works well as both.

Close up swatch.
I picked this up for £3 from my local superdrug but the MUA website have this on introductory offer at the minute for only £2.
If anyone is sitting on the fence about trying this, i say just go and grab it, its seriously a great product and for the price you cant be robbed!!

Keep an eye out for my Review of the MUA Undress Me Too Palette
